Review content:
My boyfriend and I came here for our one-year anniversary, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate. We went on a Saturday night at 6:30 and stayed until 9:30---there was no rush to hurry out of the restaurant at all. The food was fantastic. I had the pineapple-infused-vodka martini with dry ice, which added an incredible effect! We had the calamari to start (good, but kind of a lot for two people because the taste wears on you after a bit), then the caesar salad and beefsteak tomato salad, both of which were wonderful. I had the king crab legs, which is 1 lb. and they are really huge, and my boyfriend had the filet, Oscar-style, which was excellent. We had asparagus and a twice baked potato on the side, both of which were perfectly done...and we had to take half of the sides home because we were so stuffed! We split the pound cake dessert, which is more like an ice cream cake with meringue ""frosting"" and Graeters ice cream...yum. It was expensive (!), about $160 including tip for both of us, but well worth it for a special night if you want to go all out. And our service was impeccable. The server chatted with us just enough to be friendly and make us feel at home, but kept the perfect amount of distance, too. I can't imagine a better evening.
Pros: Service, Food, Ambiance, Romantic, Great Special-Occasion
Cons: Price can add up if you get all the trimmings
