I've been to the White Dog twice. First of all, I love the ambiance of the place. The wood decor for a small booth is a bit stiff, but there's something about the entire feeling of the place that is cool, trendy, and a bit romantic.
The first time I wasn't really thrilled with my barbecued shrimp entree, but I attributed it to a different style of preparation than I prefer. My salad was great the second time. My husband loved his entree's both time, wild boar once and a roasted chicken breast the second. The desserts both times were fantastic, the doggie cookie is a great touch to their desserts. Decent wine list and great service both times.
Very good food, although not all entree's are a hit. Overall, I really like the place for its ambiance, good service, and pretty darn good food.
