Received a call about 1:20 in the morning. Young-sounding woman said she made a mistake and was trying to call the police. Calm voice, no surprise at getting a wrong number. Interesting, the number she called is located in another state and area code and unlisted. Reverse look-up points to Northbrook, IL, lat 42.1200/long -87.8300, unlisted landline from Teleport Communications, phone look-up map shows Shermer Road between Brentwood and Stanley. Landline number unlisted. Houses on left (west, if Shermer is N/S street); apartments(?) on right. Not far from the local high school (south?), either. Have alerted my carrier so that no extra charges or weird stuff shows up on my account.
