We dined on what should have been a relatively quiet Saturday night, rainy and at the end of the season, but the place was fairly crowded. We had to wait an hour for our table although we had a reservation. The GM/host was very nice and bought us an app for our patience but once we were seated and finally ordered, everything was rather... bland. Nice enough server, but bland, nice enough food but bland. We ordered off the prix fixe bar menu which included a glass of wine and fair enough, I ordered a plate of orechiette with basil, not the most exciting dish, but still, it could have some flavor. Bread came to the table warm, which is always nice. Caesar salad also bland with pretty lame croutons. I thumbed through what looked like a pretty nice wine list, easy to read with accessible wines/prices but again, no ""ah ha!"" Had been to Bluepoint two nights before, same owner, and had a much better experience although the feeling now is that Telluride doesn't really have wonderful food, but we've been told otherwise again and again. We'll see...
Pros: Cozy spot in historic building with a G.M. that is fairly attentive.
Cons: Food just so-so
