When I heard a cupcake bakery was coming to Clarendon I couldn't have been more estatic! With cupcakes being all the rage right now I was happy to see Clarendon was stepping up and getting their own bakeshop. I have been to Bakeshop VA a few times now and have to say I have always been left satisfied. Their red velvet, vanilla, and most recently the Chocolate Toffee are some of my favorites. My only pet peeves about this place is the lack of decor or style upon entering their cute side street bakery and also the rather small size of their cupcake. Although moist and delicious it could be 100 times better if it were slightly larger. I highly recommend stopping by, because even though I am stuck on the rather small treat, they are still delectable and delicious!
