Review content:
The owner of this business, Jeff Hunt, appears that he knows what he is doing. He did everything I asked of him, which was to transfer photos from one computer to another. However, his attitude kept him from receiving 5 stars. His business hours describe him as being open from 10am-6pm Monday-Saturday. However, he was not open at all on the Saturday I attempted to initiate my repair on 10/29/11. The following Monday, 10/31/11, when he was open, I inquired about that and the phone message I left him that was never returned. He gave a very smug response and did not seem to care. When my repair was ready for pick-up on Tuesday, 11/1/11, again, Jeff's attitude downgraded his rating. Bringing him two laptops required bringing two cords. When I dropped the computers off, the cords were neatly rolled up and separated from one another. When I got them back, I spent a few minutes at home untangling these cords. It is very unprofessional to return an item to someone that you worked in a way different than how it was received, other than the repair. Also, because I did not know this business person, I wanted to insure before I left, that the work I requested had been performed to my satisfaction. So, I had to boot my computer and open the file I designated for the data dump. While doing so, Jeff Hunt kept leaning over and asking if the computer had booted yet, like he was in such a hurry that he couldn't bother himself to wait 2 minutes for me to check his work. Mr Hunt: You have an attitude problem that needs checking. I chose this company to support a local entrepreneur rather than a corporate goon like Best Buy or Office Depot. Jeff Hunt showed no appreciation with that fact by his attitude. While I will use other computer repair entrepreneurs in the future, it will definitely not be Central Texas Computers.
