Review content:
Sure, you could get CDs cheaper at Best Buy -- but only at a place like Jackpot would you discover your next favorite up-and-coming band, uncover strange but wonderful gems from decades past and even quirky new genres of music that will make even your hippest hipster pals marvel at your cutting-edge taste. Jackpot is the kind of record store that just radiates with a love for music -- from the friendly and helpful staff to the astounding array of new and used CDs, vinyl and obscure DVDs, you'll remember why it's so much more fun to browse through the racks of a really good record store (and not just get stuff on the Web). I don't even LIVE in Portland, but I always make it a point to visit Jackpot to get my fix of great tunes.
Pros: Great selection, helpful and knowledgeable salespeople, good stuff on the listening stations
Cons: the selection can be intimidating
