Review content:
My husband and I had been wanting to try Amalfi's for a while - we live nearby and it always looks welcoming and busy. We had about a thirty minute wait for a table on a Saturday night, so we went to the bar, which was very busy but the staff were friendly. When we got to the table, it was greasy, but the waiter was again friendly. The food, unfortunately, was inedible. The garlic bread was the worst kind of cheap white bread (where the garlic came in was a mystery) and it smelled like burned rubber rather than garlic. I had the chicken and provolone ravioli with marinara sauce and I would eat my scarf if someone could prove to me that it wasn't pre-packaged and possibly even Ragu sauce and pre-grated processed parmesan 'cheese'. Also, the plate it came on was very dirty.
Pros: Nice atmosphere in the bar. Fire pits outside
Cons: Worst kind of pre-packaged, over processed food.
