Review content:
Located far in the middle of nowhere on a drug infested island in the middle of California, this secluded park has all of the amenities you could ask for, a pool, a library, computer room...not that you can use any of these, because the manager is an absolute pleasure (the worst person ever to walk the face of the Earth). The clubhouse stays locked up 365 days a year. Or if you're like me, you can't use the pool unless you're on the lease as a homeowner, so no, your girlfriend can't go swimming, or wife, or grown-ass kids if they're not the owners of the home. Other perks of living in this amazing little place: There are three restaurants and not one but TWO gas stations on the island!!! How exciting is that?! It's only a short 13 mile walk to school for your kids, because there is no public transportation that comes anywhere near the island! Think of how healthy your kids will be after all that walking! All of the locals are very friendly and will avoid talking to you at all costs unless they're robbing you, which is nice, because you probably don't want to be talking to strangers anyway. The streets of The Willows are exceptionally clean, and the manager makes sure to keep it that way by towing your car if you park it in the street for more than 3 minutes. The Willows is also in very close proximity of 2 boat launch areas if you own a boat! But you can't keep your boat anywhere in The Willows, that's not allowed, silly! Rent is a very affordable $473.00 a month, but that's before the manager finds ways to charge you a plethora of extra fees and dues, so expect your wallet to be a little more empty at the end of the month than you were expecting. Overall I give The Willows of Bethel Island 5 stars!! Out of 100 of course, and that's being generous.
