Review content:
Chilton Turf Center used to be one of the better mower and lawn care shops in the area. Unfortunately, something has happened and they are now poorly managed. Their repair department is especially poorly managed; it seems like there is no one who is watching this area. Employees of Chilton are doing their own thing without any guidence. Mowers come in for repair but it often takes many days after diagnosis to order parts if they don't have the parts in stock. Repairs can take weeks and no one cares. Everyone there seems to blame someone else - sometimes they even blame the Customer! They claim to be a ""full service warranty repair center"" for many of the products they sell (and sell their products promising this full service), but only relucently provide pick-up and delivery for their larger equipment. Even though they charge $75 for pick-up and delivery, I've been told that they don't regularily provide this service; in fact, I've been told that they are doing me a FAVOR to provide this service. My suggestion is to be very careful before you purchase anything from Chilton until they wake up and recognize that they are only in business because its customers choose them and that they are NOT doing us a favor by servicing what they sell. By the way, there are many other fine alternatives to Chilton so you might want to check out a few until Chilton gets it act together!
