Review content:
I lived there for exactly a year and was happy to leave. I am incredibly obsessive about my home being clean. I steam cleaned the carpet about 3 times while I was there because the carpet was so thick that the back door would not open easily over it, it would drag and push dirt from outside into the carpet always leaving a trail where the door crosses. Also, we had two dogs and came flea free, the dog park though is infested with them and our poor dogs would have to endure weekly flea baths and I would treat the inside of the apartment at least once a month for fleas as well. Anyway, 3 months before move out I was tired of cleaning the carpet myself with my tiny steam cleaner and flea killer and paid Dalworth to come out and professionally clean it. They did an awesome job and the carpet looked brand new. The tech even wrote on his report that there was minimum wear and it cleaned well. 44 days after move out I received a bill in the mail for almost $1,000 because they replaced the carpet due to heavy damage. A total lie, I know how I left that apartment. In 3 months there is no way it could have gone from like new to incredibly damaged. Also, we paid a pet deposit monthly for each dog, that price multiplied by the 12 months we rented should have been more than enough to cover the carpet that didn't need to be replaced. What is the pet deposit good for anyway? I'm contacting an attorney. This is ridiculous. I paid rent early every month and never late and this is how I'm treated. Oh, and mold grew around every single window in the apt and it was disgusting. I couldn't clean it enough to keep it away and apparently other renters have had the same problems with this complex with the mold around windows. The place looks nice but after living there it definitely was not worth the rent. Appliances were picky as to when they wanted to work. Also, one night I was out on my porch and bent over to pick my dog up and noticed that light was showing from the living room between the outside wall and the foundation, the place isn't even sealed correctly!
