Bought a fairly expensive bunk bed there. Within the 1-year warranty period, the ledge attached to the side of the bed broke off. Filed a warranty claim. ""Joe"", the owner, had us send pictures in to show the damage, which we immediately did. Over one month later, the bed had not been fixed. Joe was rude to my wife, accusing her of abusing the bunk bed. When I spoke to him about it, he was not apologetic and was even more rude to me. He refused to provide the labor (which is clearly stated on the back of our receipt, ""M. Simon stands behind it's warranty for 1-year materials and labor."" When I reminded me I had also bought a $4000 living room suite, he rudely replied ""THANK YOU!"" and kept rudely talking fast over me.
I ended up having to cut slats to fit the full size bed, and repair it myself.
The bed is cheaply made with extremely soft wood. The screws were too short to hold the ledge on, and driven deep into the wood in order to try to make it hold. ""Joe"" would not honor M. Simon's warranty, even though it was in writing. He never even inspected the bed. At the very least a BBB complaint is forthcoming.
It will be a snowy day when I buy from this guy again. I don't buy from liars and cheats.
