Review content:
The Alberta Street Oyster Bar is one of my favorite fine dining experiences, with an aesthetically pleasing dining room accompanied by a low key atmosphere. The crew there is friendly and attentive, which always adds to the experience. I have sampled several options they offer on their menu however want to particularly mention the grilled rare tuna, halibut, and baseball sirloin entrees. I eat out quite a bit and these are repeat performances for sure. Great starters in my opinion include the absinthe steamed blue mussels, and you cannot go wrong with the oysters which are always offered in nice variety. The cocktails are unique and finish it off nicely. Try any that include fennel infused bourbon, rosemary infused gin, and the cherry bourbon. I was there most recently with a group of friends on Valentine's Day. I have no idea how many people came through their doors that night, but my group had the same great food and experience despite the mad rush of a holiday weekend. Thanks to you all,, a top Portland recommendation for sure! Pros: Great Food and Beverage, well worth the price.. good value. Cons: If they ever run out of mussels!
