Review content:
Smith mechanical was also assigned to me by my home warranty company. They decided we needed a new water heater and that was covered by our warranty. They took our $100 deductible check and said they would be back Friday to replace WH. On Friday after several calls to them and warranty company they said Monday was the best they could do. I called them back again to beg for the WH so I did not have to go all weekend without hot water and Dave yelled at me repeatedly that it was my insurance companies fault, not his. I had enough and hung up. Within 2 minutes Dave called my husband and said find another company because he was ""not dealing with your wife,"" mind you he already cashed my $100 check. After several calls to the insurance, they made them replace the WH. The day of the service my dad (a plumber himself) was there with the extra needed parts and such and they refused to use them or let my dad install it himself. We had to pay them an extra $220 over the deductible for parts my dad purchased at Home Depot for less than $30 bucks. They also wanted $175 to haul the WH away! We took it to the local recycling center ourself and they gave us $10 bucks for it! These guys were jokes and are totally running a scam to people who have the cost of the WH covered by the insurance.
