I just recently visited the Sholdfeild House in Madison Indiana, I am a Mason from TN and live in Louisville KY and heard of it from one of the lodges. It is very fascinating place to see with such a history behind it. I am so glad to see that a piece of our history is keep like that and open to the public as well. The place was just awesome and well maintained. But would to the wise the care taker of the place was not a Mason. He is very well educated on the Masons and was very friendly. I highly recommend if you are a mason to visit the place or if you are a history buff like I am, either way you will enjoy the visit. And always remember places like this are hard to maintain so feel free to donate to keep the place open and for the up keep. Pros: Friendly people, very informitive, well maintained Cons: would love to see more documentation on the history posted, some things just did not click for me word to mouth.
