Review content:
Yoga classes for Pinnacle Rehabilitation at 621 Court Street were advertised without including the West Branch address. I thought their office was in Standish. I called the lady whose name was listed and was immediately asked alot of questions which definitely indicated they only wanted certain people. For instance, why I wanted to even take yoga classes, I am overweight--seemed to have a problem with that even though she told me she had a YOUNG woman once who was 75 pounds overweight and that person lost weight doing yoga. Had I seen the doctor within the past couple of years? Did I have good balance? I sincerely thought these classes were given and the people who had never done it before would do what they could and work into it. This lady found lots of reasons why it would NOT be a good idea for me but not any that would make it a good idea. She kept asking if I was sure I wanted to do this and I kept telling her that is why I called in the first place. She even mentioned that she had good insurance in case anything should happen. I was doomed from the start on trying to convince her--she definitely did not want me there. I called with the intention of signing up for all 14 classes--she told me she did not give refunds. I did not ask for a refund. If Pinnacle wants to limit their yoga to a certain age and weight--do it in the ad not over the phone. She even admitted she was looking for information on my name on the internet before she called. I do believe she is trying to pick and choose!!
Cons: Yoga advertisement in Standish paper?
