When I was shopping landscape estimates, Bob Lucas Jr. came out to my home to sell a design. He was very pushy and wanted me to sign the contract that day. He was disappointed when I chose to think about it for a couple of days. On his return, I presented him with a scaled back design. He didn't want to give me the scaled back design because he said that it would not be appropriate for the size of my house. When he added on taxes, labor costs, etc.., I decided that I needed to think about it for a while. He was so angry that he grabbed up all his papers, stormed out of my house, and slammed my front door. When he commented on spending over an hour at my house, I advised him that I do not have these types of conversations with my customers.
