Unethical cheating liars! Those are the best words to describe Gray s Outdoor Services and its owner, Tom Gray. I hired Gray s in 2011 to remove a large maple. When they had finished , there was a pile of wood chips where the tree had been. Tom Gray told me that they would decompose and fill in the hole. Several weeks later, I decided to remove the chips, and I discovered a stump 7 ft. across and up to 5 in.high (see photos). The grinder had broken and, instead of arranging a time to come out and finish the job, Tom Gray elected to hide his shoddy work and leave without letting me know that anything had gone wrong. Before he left, he accepted full payment. Phone calls to him have only resulted in him hanging up on me. There is no way in the world I would ever recommend Gray s for anything!! He is the most unethical businessman I have ever had the misfortune to know.
