Ive stayed at Kimpton Hotel properties many times in the past and have never had a bad experience until my recent stay at the Vintage Plaza....Our NON-Smoking room - smelled like smoke...moved into a ""better"" room and was sent to a room that happen to have dirty bed linens (i wont even go into detail about what it was) while we left for the evening - we asked if they could change the bed linens....we were arrived back to the room - we were greeted with a bottle of wine, chocolate...and the same DIRTY BED LINENS..Not wanting to deal with it again - we stripped the bed of the dirty linen ourself and went to sleep. The next morning, we orded room service at 10:30am as we were getting ready for check out...at 11:30 - still no breakfast and 30 min away from check out we called and they had ""lost"" our order. This was just one night at the Vintage Plaza...i cant imagine staying any longer! Kimpton Hotels are usually a very high rated hotel, however, this specifc hotel I wouldnt recommed - try the 5th Ave Suites instead!
Pros: Great downtown location
Cons: all over bad service
