Review content:
My mother was admitted to Maplewood to get her strength back after having a serious case of pneumonia.
From the time she arrived the social service deptartment was right there to help my siblings and I know about papers and forms we needed to have and sign. The nurses and CNA's were very kind and caring giving her choices of times she liked to get up or go to bed, foods she liked and didn't like. The food was very good and they had several choices each meal to choose. The activities let her enjoy things she did at home cooking groups and games. They also had numerous musical groups for entertainment. There is also a nice Beauty Salon/ Barber for residents to look and feel better. They have a pharmacy on site and were right there if we had any concerns about mom's medications. The therapy got her strength and balance back so she was able to go back home after a couple of weeks. We would definitely recommend Maplewood Sauk Prairie to our friends and families. Check out other facilties and you'll find this is one of the best in the area. They have very friendly caring people in all of there departments.
