Review content:
Because of our POLITELY giving back a french onion soup that was ridiculously horrible - (it was a cloudy, chicken gravy colored, bland broth, served on a PLATE, with a burnt piece of texas toast under swiss cheese - honestly it did not smell or taste even remotely close to a french onion soup), a waitress had made it a point to stare us down with an extremely nasty look on her face as she walked by shortly after we gave the soup back - and this was not a quick snide look, this was an extended turning her head as she walked ""I will spare no expense at making you feel uncomfortable stare, to let you know I want to sp-t in your face"" look.Being the second (in a row) experience here with rude and nasty staff - I ask for the manager to request this person stay clear of us while we finish our meal - we get the co-owner - who I found out actually made the science project of a soup, who is just as ignorant as the waitress, and cares only about her hurt feelings of our not eating the soup. I explain to her that should the waitress repeat what she did - I would give her a piece of my mind, so please keep her away from us.Instead of her taking our word as the customer, she accuses us of being ridiculous, and basically tells me just to pay my bill and leave or she is calling the police.Yes, if you can believe that - that is her response, and know I am not a snide teenager - I am a well respected business owner in Carmel who in the last year has spent $18,000 dining out.The night summed up - we politely returned a horrible dish, were then treated with complete disrespect and rudeness, and told to pay our bill and leave. The other owner (Matteo) attempted to smooth it over, however, the co-owner, and creator of the french onion nightmare said, verbatim ""Matteo, they said they'll never come here again so who cares, let them pay and leave"".GREAT ATTITUDEWith hundreds of restaurants in Indianapolis - choose ANY one of them - and you'll do better! Pros: That we know never to come here again Cons: Unbelievably rude, ill mannered, ignorant staff - burger king has friendlier staff !
