Review content:
I was in Reno for a night and was in the mood for some Thai food. Being from San Francisco, where we have many good Thai restaurants, I has a bit apprehensive about the quality of ""ethnic foods"" in Reno. I found Green Papaya in the yellow pages and decided to give it a try. The restaurant itself was empty but as we dined there was a steady stream of customers picking up take out orders. We ordered appetizers of chicken satay, crispy tofu, and Tom-Kha soup. You can order the soup in degrees of spiciness rated from 1-5. We ordered it as 3 and I thought it could have been a tad more spicy (I like it hot). My entree was a large plate of yummy tofu pad Thai.
Pros: great thai food
Cons: atmosphere is lacking
