Well, I've lived in Orange for a while now, and find Downtown Santa Ana one of the most up and coming hang out spots available in the OC. Jason's Downtown Restaurant is a clear example of what I mean. A place which resembles the sophisticated but still comfortable type of scene you'd find in New York, or Frisco. The food is out of this world, from middle eastern dishes like their Lamb Tajine (OMG), to their good old Potstickers w/ some kicker mango sauce to dip. The service is great but still comfortable and layed back(Not snobby, which is annoying), and whether you're there for lunch in their huge patio w/ the bright sky, or enjoying their live music on weekends, the place is perfect. Pros: The Food Cons: The Glare inside
