Review content:
First, I'll just say that if you want Indian food in the ""Couve"", you've got to give something some slack, and here, it's the interior of the restaurant. Decor is not good, to say the least, but I'd rather they stay open than redecorate. We've been coming here about once a month for the last two-three years. We usually get our food to go, because we always seem to be getting food from here on a ""curl up at home and watch movies"" night. That being said, that should tell you something about the food. Good, comforting (not swanky or expensive) Indian food. Fair prices, good portions, owner is always very nice and makes good suggestions for us to try new things, and you really can't ask for much else. Granted, we could eat there at the buffet cheaper, but I prefer their yummy food in my own, comfortable digs. Try the Chicken Mahkani (and get Tamarind sauce on the side). Really good, and a nice change from Chinese takeout.
