Review content:
This is a place to take skeptical ""Los Angeles has no charm"" out of towners, ""Chicken AND waffles?!"" they will declare, as you drag them kicking and screaming into the restaurant. After the meal, they will sign over their first born to you. I usually just get the Carol's special, which is a waffle and a chicken breast, perfect for a modest eater (although a chicken breast at this place is pretty gargantuan). The sides are all worthy, like the sausage patties drenched in gravy, or a huge slab of cornbread slathered in butter. Do not take dieters here. Those people are no fun anyhow.
Pros: Eating like an American
Cons: Sticky fingers
