The atmosphere is stripmall-ish and it feels like you are eating in a commercial kitchen. The food was pretty good and the service was great for us, but the overall value wasn't all that great in my opinion. For such a stripped down setting and for the measly portions...I wasn't impressed. Compare this to Robin's in Pasadena and you won't bother making the trip to Montrose. I got the 'combo' which is $22...there was definitely not that much meat on the plate. Now the 'Garbage Can' combo at Robin's is worth the price at $24.95...and that leaves me with enough leftovers for at least 2-3 meals at home! No, I don't work for Robin's...if you need good bbq and its Monday night, go to Zeke's, but every other night of the week...well, you know where to go.
