Review content:
After exhaustively searching through what seemed like every antique store and mall in New Hampshire and Maine, we finally found the best - Carboni Antiques in Wells. We loved this series of 2 beautiful stores on the outskirts of Kennebunkport (in Wells, ME) - the mother/daughter owners have a beautiful eye for classic but fresh-looking antique pieces with a great sense of scale. We adored the pair antique cement whippet statues from a house on Beacon Hill, and swooned over an antique coral and green stamped and studded leather screen. Display is perfect - every vignette looks like a magazine layout - and the owners are friendly, and very knowledgeable about the pieces in their shops. Prices are very reasonable, quality is great, and the look is both current and classic. Texas salutes y'all!! Thanks for the great visit!
