I first met Haruo when he was at Trump Plaza's Oscar Blandi Salon. My hair was always perfect after Haruo cut & styled it. I then followed him to Rita Hazan's and finally to his very own salon in Ridgewood. I was often on tour as a performer, but would wait to see Haruo because I wouldn't trust anyone else with my tresses. Now I live in Rome, Italy and I'm rarely in the states, but whenever I do visit, I make sure to drop by and see Haruo. He's the only one I trust with my locks, worldwide.
