Review content:
I've been meaning to write a review of ""Haruo Noro Salon""... Haruo Noro salon is located in a beautiful area of Ridgewood, New Jersey. Surrounding this chic and trendy salon, are quaint boutique stores, Zagat-rated restaurants, modern bars/lounges, and even a movie theater. Personally, I find it a godsend when dropping off a girlfriend to get their cut/color. In addition, this eliminates the time/energy of having to bridge and tunnel to New York City, pay parking and tolls, just for an amazing grooming experience. Walking in, you'll be pampered to each and every need. They'll hang your coat, remember your favorite beverage (mine's diet coke in bottle shaped glasses), search for the perfect magazine for you (GQ), and even give you a relaxing massage! The stylists here are very compassionate, concerned, and attentive to each clients needs. They'll first have a consultation with you to understand your goals and give you educated advice/feedback. I've never seen a stylist here not authentically working with their client and making sure they're comfortable. The staff is very professional and polite. They'll go to great lengths so that you will feel right at home. As for Haruo Noro, this man is an artist, period. My old paradigms of hairstyling was that it was just hair... he takes it to a whole other level. I believe a hairstyle can literally be the cornerstone of one's appearance, everything else supplements your hairstyle. You'll be in good hands with Haruo... he's fluent in English and Japanese. He'll listen to what your goals are in terms of what you want but will also be honest on whether or not it will work for you. This isn't a stylist that perfected his trade for the money (look at who he's worked for and trained under)... he really is down to earth, compassionate, and a class-act. It really is a treat to see him and I'd like to call him a good friend! In conclusion, ""Haruo Noro salon,"" is my go-to-spot for modern, trendy, and classy hairstyles. You will be cared for like a family member. Your specific goal to achieve a certain look will be met. If you don't respect yourself or don't want to stay well-groomed go to supercuts or a barber, but if you want to look and feel your BEST... go to Haruo Noro Salon.
