Review content:
I started my two sons at Murphy Canyon Preschool more than two years ago when I went back to work. I spent the first few days shadowing my child to make the transition easier, and to make sure I was comfortable leaving my kids in their care. I have Weds off, so volunteer frequently and can tell you that the staff really care about each student there, and do their best to make it the most positive environment possible. They may not have the resources that $200-250/week programs do, but they do the most they can with the resources they have. My older son is now almost done with his Kindergarten year at Birney Academy of International Studies (an IB magnet), and I believe that his current reading level of 10 (the state standard requires a level 3 by the time they leave K) has a lot to do with the foundation he received at MCP. Pros: Caring, nurturing environment
