Review content:
Horrible, awful job, very un-professional! We hired Andy to paint our new rented apartment we had not have moved into. Normally we would have done it ourselves, but my husband was very busy studying and working, then we had to move, anyway, we decided to splurge. We should have done it ourselves! When we came to check on the job, I was disappointed because not all of the trim was done, but didn't think it was a big deal. So we paid and left. After we started moving in, we started noticing little things that you hire a professional painter to avoid. He never took outlet cover off, he painted right over them, in the bathroom he just smeared the paint over the window frame, toilet paper holder and sink. We picked dark color for the kitchen and that was a big mistake because the paint was dripped on the counters, cabinets, floor. We spent three days fixing the damage. My husband called Andy to ask about the trim and Andy told us he would come and do it for extra charge. For some reason my husband thought Andy was a good business and wanted to have his customers happy. Wrong. Then I called him to tell how unhappy we were. All he had to say was that he was sorry, that he was pressed for time and he failed to check. Failed to check his job? Really? For $50/h? His review deserves half a star, just because the paint colors were great. Anyway, stay away from this man, if you see his card at the hardware store, pick somebody else. What I learned from this particular experience is: get at least two estimates and never pay until you are completely satisfied with the job.
