From the very start, my experience with S&S Laundry has been horrible. I rented a washer and dryer from them and it took three tries to get them delivered. Although I was home at the times we arranged for the appliances to be delivered, they tried to deliver--twice--on days and times without my knowledge or approval. Both times I received angry phone calls wondering where I was and why I wasn't able to receive them. They never actually showed up when they said they would, and I just happened to be home one day when they showed up at random.
From there things only got worse. Before I moved out, I filled out a transfer of lease to my roommate and faxed it to them (after having called to find out how to transfer the lease). We had to refax twice before they confimed recipt of the transfer. However for 5 months after that, my credit card kept being charged monthly for the fee, and my roommate was also being charged! We both called and spoke with different people on several occasions to get this resoved, and so far it hasn't worked. Despite credit card bills from both my roommate and myself that prove the washer and dryer had been paid for each month, I have recently started receiving collection phone calls and bills at my new address.
I have been so frustrated and upset by this neverending process, and I'm worried that it will negatively reflect on my credit report.
Never use this company. They cannot get their act together and will take advantage of you. You will regret ever having done business with them.
