My grandmother goes to Dr. Hong frequently. As an older woman, she is very traditional and follows herbal and eastern medicine practices. Dr. Hong is the perfect fit for her because of that sole reason. Although the wait is long--and when I say long, i mean hours and hours, regardless of an appointment, he truly cares about his patients. If you don't mind the messy/dirty office and harsh help (his mother tends to the front desk), then he can be your kind of doctor. He has an extensive education from asia and from USC medical. His heart is in the right place, he just doesn't have the right resources many times to accomodate all his paitents. He does stay longer than operating hours to see everyone he can.
