I bought an entry door at what I thought was a good price. However, the salesperson's attitude changed when I told him that I was having someone else do the installation. He started to nickel and dime me on ""extras"" and I told him to forget it. I called back the next day to see if the door was still available and he said it was sold. I went down there 2 days later and the door was still there and was NOT sold. I bought the door because of the big discount I was getting (it was a disontinued model). The owner of the place personally sold it to me and he could not answer me when I asked why his salesman had told me the door had been sold LOL. The molding for the door was not available so I had to wait 2 weeks while it was fabricated. I picked up the door and the moldings and had my installer do the installation. The door looked great except Door and Window Plus gave me a mis-matched set of moldings; i.e., the wood pattern on one piece was different than the rest. I took the molding back and they agreed to replace the mis-matched piece. When I went back to pick it up, I was given a complete set and told that they could not match the molding they had given me previously. So now, my installer has to remove the 4 of the 6 pieces of molding he had already installed and replace it with the new ones. He is not going to do this for free. I spoke to the owner of Door and Window Plus and he said it was not his company's responsibility to install the new molding even though his company provided me with a mis-matched set. Were they hoping that my installer or I wouldn't notice that the molding didn't match? If they knew the set was mis-matched, why didn't they just tell me and make a complete set? Instead, I have to pay the installer twice for the same job. Pros: Good selection Cons: Poor quality control, doesn't stand behind work
