The main problem with Home dept in Cheektowaga, they do not face much of competition, so they could not care less about the customer, To increase completion please ask Lowe's to open a store nearby. (Just go to Lowe's web site, click on ""About Lowe's"" and then click ""Request a Lowe's"" and fill out your request for a new store. ************************** I am a frequent shopper at home depot in Cheektowaga NY, but their customer service is the lousiest you can ever ask for, and the fish stink from its head, and the head is assistant manager Mr. Judd. I am managing few buildings, and I am buying at that store almost on a daily basis, and over time I spent there tens of thousands of dollars, last time on 1-30-2012 I had a shopping cart with $200 materials, I approached the service desk and asked them to match the price for ""torch down roll"" from the $70 shelf price to $58 offer by another retailer, they made a big fuss about it, called assistant manager Mr. Judd and he said he can not match roofing materials. I asked my associate to return the items he bought, I asked the manager Mr. Judd to put all the items in my shopping cart back on the shelf and we drove to the other retailer and bought everything from them. Is Mr. Judd crazy or is he crazy? is this his way to say ""Thank you"" to a loyal customer?? is customer service stops at ""$12"" price match on a $200 purchase? I would say he is definitely small minded and not fit to be a manager. After I complained to customer service from the home office in Atlanta, they got back to me 24 hours later saying the store will match the price, but it is too late, I already had nasty and embarrassing experience, and I already bought everything I needed from the other retailer. This is only one of the many problems I experienced with the Cheektowaga Home Depot, and I can not wait for Lowe's to open store nearby. Consequent of this on-going lousy customer service, I am already making all my big purchases in excess of $4,000 at lowe's ONLY, they have a lot better customer service, and better price matching and beating.
