I purchased a Groupon for a cut and full color at Volero as it?s a great way to try out new Salons. During the six (yes, I said six) hours that it took them to cut and color my hair (I was ?sharing? my stylist) I sat and listed to every patron be verbally patronized by the staff and basically be forced to shell out more money to get what they had supposedly already paid for in the groupon. It?s a classic bait and switch ? a practice that I find not only deceptive, but also dishonest and disrespectful.
It has been 2 weeks since my appointment and the color as already faded, so much so that my coworkers asked if I had had it re-done as I told everyone how terrible my Volero experience was.
I am amazed to read all the rave reviews for this salon. If you enjoy being told ?never gonna happen? when showing a picture of a style you like, or that ?your hair is terrible, its going to take at least 3 visits to fix it? when there was nothing actually wrong with you hair before you walked in, or if you have amazing low self esteem and think this kind of ?friendly? advice is what you are overpaying for ? great. For anyone else stay away.
