Review content:
I bought a mantle from these guys plus 2 gas fireplaces that were supposed to be remote controlled. They did the installation and called it a day. I was concerned because I had the remotes and the fireplaces installed but the remote transmitter box was missing which meant I could not use the remote functions.
I called the store to let them know and they said it was impossible and I dont see it but its there. They had full confidence that the installer guy was a reliable person and would not have forgotten such a major detail. They thought I was crazy and annoying for calling them.
So I did the only thing I could do and took a picture with my digi cam and emailed it to them so many times it flooded their inbox.
I then received a call the next day to say that I was right and I was missing the major piece in both fireplaces for proper operation. They scheduled me for another installation date.
The thing that annoyed me was that made no effort to investigate my claims and no apology from them afterwards for wasting my time for not believing me.
What ever happened to the customer is always right.
