Review content:
Our furnace was having problems (not starting all the time) so we called neerings to come (we had a coupon). The tech said the main board needed to be replaced and it would be over $800. The furnace also stopped working once the tech looked at the furnace. The tech recommended replacing the whole furnace. I called a local contractor to come and look. He said a wire was knocked loose and fixed that so the furnace would work start some of the time again and bid to replace the main board for under $200. He also bid to replace the furnace at $2000 less and for a superior ranked brand. I also called whipple and they bid on a new furnace for about $1000 less than neerings. We had the main board replaced by the contractor and almost a year later the original furnace is fine. I talked to a friend who used neerings for a plumbing incident and he had the same horrible experience. Avoid neerings, their techs are incompetent and they are way over priced.
