Review content:
We hired LBI for drywall and painting of the whole house. It was a big job and we felt safer going with a full contractor. They were very professional in the sales pitch presenting very detailed contracts and plans. Sadly, there was a complete lack of attention to detail once the work started. I really think the crew they used were largely people who had never worked in construction. The texture job was inconsistent and was so bad in 2 rooms they had to redo it. And I did not like that I had to point it out to the contractor. His name was on the project and I expect a little pride in your work that you would not want such substandard work to be tolerated. I am actually very easy to please so to get me to the point of complaining was one big achievement of theirs.
Overall, a lack of attention to detail, lack of oversight, and lack of common sense plagued the whole project. They actually pulled cable and wires through so that they plugs would be set at 4 feet high.
Whatever you do, do not hire them unless you like overpaying for shoddy work.
