I have had IMS for about a year. I initially found them by looking online at other reviews. I narrowed it down to a couple companies, and then had them come give me quotes. Not only was their quote for weekly landscaping the same as I'd paid previously, but from day #1 they demonstrated an ability to deliver superior service - and they have not disappointed.
For approximately one year, they have done our weekly landscaping maintenance work, which includes things like cutting the grass, trimming and seasonal fertilizing/pruning. What I liked about their approach is that the owner has a schedule for each person's yard, so that throughout the year, the workers sent out know exactly what to do from week to week. They are also very mindful of each client's personal preferences. If you like a more manicured look, they take the pains to do all the trimming/hedging on a more frequent basis. If you want it more natural, then they won't carelessly cut away against your wishes. They find out how you like each area cared for, and then they treat your lawn as if it's their own.
I've also had them come out to do a few 'special projects', like moving some plants around, mulching, etc. I've always found their prices for these special projects to be reasonable.
Lastly, from the owner to the gardeners who come to do the work - they all seem like decent, hard-working and trustworthy people. The owner stops by periodically to check on the work and ensure everything is going alright. The guys who come each week are always the same guys; there's not a lot of turn-over and whatever they learn about your personal preferences doesn't get 'lost' each time a new crew takes over your yard.
In a nutshell, they deliver great service at a reasonable price. I plan on sticking with them for a long time to come.
