I was a customer of Mertz Plumbing & Heating a couple of times. But that all changed with my last experience with Bob Mertz. I made an appointment to do a simple faucet change in my bathroom. Bob and his helper arrived late and didn't even have the courtesy to call and let me know they were running behind. When I say late, it wasn't twenty minute or a half hour, it was almost two hours!! They changed it within an hour and were gone. (They weren't very thoughtful with laying there tool box on my newly remodeled bathroom floor may I add.) The same day when using the faucet, water was leaking all over the sink top. I called Bob and he came to fix the problem, but charged me for HIS mistake. A few days later, I was cleaning and saw that in the cabinet that it was wet. The connector part was leaking also. With a lot of frustration, I didn't even want to call him again because of fright that he might mess it up again. I looked online and found Matt Mertz Plumbing, I called and explained my problem. He was on a job but had his uncle Bill come out that day. He was very friendly and professional. Not only did Bill fix the issue at hand but explained what simple thing that Bob did wrong. Thank god for Bill Mertz!.
