I read online that discount tires offers free flat repair. So, I went online and fixed up an appointment at the Palm Desert (Monterey and Dinah Shore) store location. I called up the store, just to double check and was assured that the service is indeed free.
I went at the appointed time and a very friendly and helpful gentleman, Aaron, came out, picked up the flat tire from my car trunk and rolled it into the workplace. He gave me an option of coming back in 30 mins or waiting in the visitors area, well equipped with comfortable chairs and some pretty good coffee and I chose the latter option.
In exactly 25 mins, my name was called and the paperwork handed over to me. A very helpful technician carried the tire to my car trunk. No questions asked, no solicitations, no annoyances, no hassle nothing at all.
You know how when a service is free or very inexpensive (like the Vegas time share presentations), you gotta put up with an annoying salesperson/s which make you regret the decision, well at American tire (Discount tire), there was no sales pitch, no nudging to replace the tire or any other sales annoyance!
I believe if they were so honest and fortright with a customer like me, who did not even buy the tires from American tires (Discount tires), then their service to their customers could only be better!
I would very strongly recommend this place to everyone who needs new tires or rims (I did see a great selection of those at pretty low prices too!) They also have a no hassle replacement system and I, for one would certainly go there when I buy new tires for any of my cars.
