Review content:
We had over 100 items of jewelry in my parent?s estate that we needed to sell and split the value among the executors. So we did tons of research to determine who to see, and one of the people we chose was David. David turned out to be better than expected. He walked us through the entire estate giving detailed explanations on value, provenance, and condition of each piece in the estate. David was unaware that we had already been somewhere else and an auction company. Not only was David?s prices slightly better than the other dealer we visited, but David?s understanding and careful explanations really helped us make important decisions about what to sell. It also surprised us to hear David advise us not to sell certain pieces as this made it clear to us that he wasn?t just advising us for personal gain. David?s values coincided perfectly with what the auction company stated that we would get for the important pieces, and this was a major advantage of selling these items directly to David. We didn?t have to wait for an auction, and we also didn?t have to worry about getting top dollar if the auction didn?t go well. Once again David had no knowledge of the values we had been given at the auction house. David was by far the most knowledgeable expert we spoke with, and his discussions were so detailed that make it much easier to make decisions. We found David intelligent, personable and above all directly honest. In our experience David is without peer, and you can do no better than seeking out his expert advice when thinking of selling jewelry.
