Danton's is one of my favorite placed to spend quality time with my daughter who races in from college and seems to only have time now for her friends. Whenever I ""dangle"" an invitation to lunch at Danton's... she's all in. The comfortable yet sophisticated atmosphere is just the answer to the college student on a budget too.
The atmosphere is perfect and the food is outstanding! Since she joined their Gulf Coast email club, SHE now calls me to set a date to meet! Doesn't get much better than that. While the Gumbo is her favorite I've always preferred the fried oysters and seafood. Their Sunday Brunch is out of this world and I highly recommend it to everyone. Special times with special people! Yes, big props to the bread pudding. OMG, as my daughter would say. Insert that smiley face thing here too.
