Review content:
The problem? Nothing but scalding water out of a shower. Great for cooking lobsters but nobody wants to go to the ER for burns sustained while bathing, right? Naturally we had holiday houseguests arriving that afternoon and needed the shower to work. My husband opened it up but decided he was in over his head and asked me to call a plumber.
I called late Friday afternoon to make an appointment and Roto-Rooter sent William to my house just outside Raleigh. They said he would come between 8 and noon Saturday morning and they called at 5 minutes to 8 to let me know he would be there in 30 minutes.
So William had a half-started mess on his hands and couldn't even test it out to verify the problem.
This didn't faze him and he got straight to work. He wore booties to keep the floor clean and worked diligently for an hour or more. He found the broken part and had a replacement in his van. Not only that, but he worked quietly so as to not wake my husband who was still sleeping in the next room.
By the time he was writing our receipt my husband was up and about and William was kind enough to compliment him on the job (nearly) well done!
The problem was fixed, he left the bathroom cleaner than he found it and then provided a coupon for us to defray the cost.
Saved by Roto-Rooter just in time for guests! Thanks a million!
