Review content:
My designer purchased 2 shades from Lumen. When I began to remove plastic from shades, I noticed that both shades had become separated at seams. I stopped removing the plastic from the shades and left part of the plastic still on the shades. She returned them to Lumen for me and left them there, since the owner was not there at the time. Clay, the owner, refused to exchange or provide store credit, even though the plastic was partially still on the shade and there was no way to have noticed that the seams were separated until the portion of plastic was removed. I returned to pick up the shades, and Amy, the sales associate, very rudely told me that she had thrown them away. I left a message for Clay to call me with solutions, and I have sent him multiple emails. He has failed to respond to any of my attempts to discuss solutions for this problem. I have paid for shades that were thrown away, and he will not even return my messages. Obviously, this is not the way that you treat customers...refuse to exchange or offer credit for defective shades, throw away the merchandise, and then not return a customer's calls or emails.
