Review content:
A group of us decided to have dinner at Penthouse808 because one of our friends has been promoting this place to us because of its view of the city. We all had drinks and paid for them at the bar before sitting down for dinner. Any drinks we had while eating were also ordered and paid for at the bar. So it came to a great surprise when we received our bill and noticed we were charged for our drinks. We advised the waiter that the only drinks that should appear on the check were the 4 pitchers of Sangria. He looked at us like we were crazy and told us you ordered drinks so you have to pay for them. We let him know all our drinks except the Sangria Pitchers were paid for already and we had the receipts to prove this. Finally, the manager got involved since she was pretty much busy talking to the DJ while all this was happening. We had to go to the bar and use calculators to arrive at the correct amount that should have been charged. I was a bit upset that we were overcharged nearly $200.00. Even worse the manager and the staff made us feel like it was our fault and we were trying to skip on the bill.
