Review content:
We were happily anticipating the reopening of the restaurant a few months ago. Our first visit found the restaurant to be a bit 60ish in style. Putting that aside we looked forward to a wonderful meal. Unfortunately we were seated near a piano. In a few minutes a much older piano player started playing very old- fashioned music. I am 65 years old do I like older music, but this was 40's music and much too loud. We were not able to have a conversation. We were disturbed because there were no other tables available. The place was packed. We figured that was a good sign for a good tasting meal. We were wrong! The steaks and seafood were terrible. The meat was not of good quality and full of fat, yuk. The scallops were way overlooked and dry. We were so disappointed because we had just moved to Mapleridge and looked forward to a good, nearby place to eat. We all then thought that it was just an off night for the place. So we went back again on another week night hoping to have a better experience. That did not happen. Stay away from this place or you will be sorry for wasting your money.
