Review content:
This happened in San Diego, but it is the same company. I called to schedule an appointment for an estimate for stucco repair. I was asked about my husband, to which I said ""What makes you assume I have a husband?"" and refused to answer any questions about him.
I got a call the day before the appointment to ""confirm for 2:00pm"" She asked whether ""my husband's name"" would be there. Clearly, she had done some research to make sure that I had a husband. She was pushy about him being there. I said he wasn't around and refused to answer any more questions about him.
The next day I got a call at 12:15 stating that they had ""an inspection delay"" and needed to re-schedule the appointment to 6:00. I said that was fine. They asked if my husband would be there. I said he would not. I got the sense that the real reason for the re-schedule was they hoped that my husband would be there later in the day. I waited until 6:40, then called to see if they were still coming. They were not, and no explanation was given as to why not. The appointment was rescheduled for 3:00 the next day. Again they asked if my husband would be there and I said no.
The next day at 3:30, I get a call saying they had another ""inspection delay"" and did I want to reschedule for later in the day? Again, I got the impression it was a ploy to try to get my husband at the appointment. I said no. I was irate that I had been stood up again.
A few minutes later, I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was connected to the same woman who I had talked to the day before my initial appointment. She confirmed it was company policy to not schedule an appointment if both spouses were not going to be present. But three different appointments were set -- so that means it must be company policy to stand people up if both parties are not going to be present. I was furious that they wasted my time with ridiculous games instead of telling me he was required for the meeting. I said this was a discriminatory practice and that I was going to file a complaint. She basically admitted that when she initially ""confirmed"" my appointment, she knew no one was going to show up, but that to keep me from filing a complaint she could make an exception and get someone out to me for real this time. I again said no.
So I call the next day and ask for the address to their corporate offices for the complaint since it isn't on their website. I was put on eternal hold. Next time I called, was given a postal annex address. Third time I was given a non-existant address. I have called a dozen more times and now it always goes to voicemail and my calls are not returned. Nor are my emails.
