Review content:
I received an estimate today from Brinks. The sales man was prompt but didn't have much sales experience. My first question was whether they had a perimeter system or something that I could add. The salesman didn't even know what I was talking about. He was polite and kept saying that he was telling me everything and didn't keep secrets. Once he was finished he quoted me a whopping 1,000 bucks for my system to protect 1500 sqft. I thought that was steep but a price I was willing to pay if they checked out. The Better business beauru shows no complaints for this company so I had high hopes. I asked the salesman by phone whether I would own the equipment or am I paying 1,000 for something Brinks still owns. Then the fairytale came to an end. Brinks owns the equipment no matter how much you pay. They try to tell you its bc they have this lifetime warranty but you pay 5 bucks a month for that warranty. I won't do business with a company like Brinks. Its sad too. Im now checking out NCA and plan to buy my own equipment. Which by the way rarely needs tending too if you have wired system.
Pros: no complaints filed against company
Cons: they own your equipment even if you pay high dallor for it.
